Incoming SMS Messages

Numtoo OU (brand Popcorn Mobile) informs that the responsibility for sending SMS messages always lies with the sender. Popcorn Mobile is not responsible for the delivery of SMS messages sent by third parties (including individuals, legal entities, and specialized services) if any of the following conditions are met:

  • The Popcorn Mobile eSIM is installed, activated on the mobile device, and connected to the network of a partner operator providing communication services.
  • The CLIENT received a test SMS from Popcorn Mobile support on the Popcorn Mobile number.
  • The Popcorn Mobile eSIM profile provides internet access, the SMS center is operational, and incoming and outgoing phone calls are available.

If any of the above conditions are met, any issues with receiving SMS messages from third-party senders are not considered a malfunction of the Popcorn Mobile eSIM, and a refund is not provided in such cases.

Please note that Popcorn Mobile does not have information on the routing used by third-party services and operators when sending SMS messages. Additionally, especially in countries outside the EU, delays in receiving SMS messages are quite common within the first 24 hours after the eSIM is installed. After this period, all SMS messages usually begin to arrive and function stably.

Currently, the following limitations have been observed:

  • Belarus: Possible delays in receiving SMS from Amazon (especially within the first 24 hours after installing the eSIM).
  • Argentina, UAE: Possible issues with SMS from Yandex services.
